Yes! Progress! It’s at this point on a project when you finally feel like the end is in sight. We used a calacutta marble for both the kitchen and bathroom so we could make the most of the slab pieces (the same material I used for my own powder room in an earlier blog post, we got all these items out of one slab) In the bathroom we just used 2 pieces, stacking the 2 slabs so that it appears to be a 4″ thick slab or so. We have a really nice rectangular under counter Duravit sink from our friends at Designer Bath that fits perfectly in the scale of the counter. So that’s it for now – next up the plumbing gets installed and then we’ll add a wood apron and drawers below later when our budget bounces back!

Oh it will pair so nicely! Marble counters fabrication and install by our friends at Athena Marble and Granite. Some other details:  Bathroom sink is a Duravit  from Designer Bath. All the sconces are from Visual Comfort.
