After another shout on out Facebook a friend Pam suggested hitting Montana Ave if we had some time to spare rather than some of the swankier streets. Good choice. Lots of energy and people about as well as perfect weather. Made us wish we had a whole day to spend in town. We wandered long enough to hit a few home design stores and do a little client shopping, wish we had more time to explore!

Pom Pom Interiors, where we were distracted by lots of sparkly objects! Finally, Rosemary McCaffrey Antiques – gorgeous collection of bell jars (where were they 6 months ago when I was looking for a pair to make into light fixtures!) and some great long consoles.
