Pre-Design Bloggers Conference: Shopping Montana Ave
After another shout on out Facebook a friend Pam suggested hitting Montana Ave if we had some time to spare rather than some of the swankier streets. Good choice. Lots of energy and people about as well as perfect weather. Made us wish we had a whole day to spend in town. We wandered long enough to hit a few home design stores and do a little client shopping, wish we had more time to explore!
Photos from top: Jonathan Adlers store, some fun pottery pieces. Rooms & Gardens – tons of great little vignettes of items to discover as well as some killer John Robshaw pieces. Pom Pom Interiors, where we were distracted by lots of sparkly objects! Finally, Rosemary McCaffrey Antiques – gorgeous collection of bell jars (where were they 6 months ago when I was looking for a pair to make into light fixtures!) and some great long consoles.
Thanks for the compliments! We’ve barely been blogging for a month, so we’re newbies! We’ve worked on the style/presentation for months though, it’s nice to see it all come to fruition- finally! Have a great weekend 🙂
