Design Scheme: Her Master Suite in Rose and Gold
Brass. Yes, Brass. I said it. And I love it here!
I was working through the initial ideas of a feminine master suite in a not so obvious feminine way. No frills here. We love love love the attention to detail on the Waterworks Henry Faucet – what suburb ridge details on the barrels of the handles. Then of course Jill at Discover Tile pulls a bronze reeded liner out of an obscure drawer – perfect! The lovely rose image is what inspired our room palette. We were talking about rose and pink and I was getting twitchy – until we found this image and started pairing some materials together. Amazing how some initial Design Development can really get you to ‘see’ the space. That and I stumbled upon the rose colored glass door knob at Anthrolopogie – hello perfect – that put the ‘nail in the coffin’ as far as this palette coming together. This is just an initial design direction, but it would be nice to take this to the next step. Hopefully we’ll have more to share soon!
