So, you saw last that Courtney worked hard to make some different sizes and types of lantern mockups for us. The first lantern was the rectangular Tiverton lantern from CL Sterling.  It was our first and well really only choice for the front! The house, a new construction that Walter Jacob Architects designed looks like a lovely Shingle house from the outside, but once you step in it takes on a much more modern bent (**spoiler altert ** think floating staircase!). My theory with the entry lantern was I was looking for something that was cleaner and fresher than a typical lantern without pushing the modern bent too far. I LOVE this lantern, the simple rectangle with a thin band of frosted glass – killer! We made a few custom size mockups to look at.  We also took a look at it for the 3 lights at the back patio overlooking the ocean – but we have something much more modern in mind there – keep a lookout – we’ll share soon!
